FingerPrint Drawings
Use childproof... waterproof ink. This is easier to clean off the fingers. You can also use water based paint. Touch finger onto the pad of ink (or paint). If using paint... dab into paint, touch finger on paper towel to remove excess paint, then press finger onto drawing paper. |
I like to use acrylic paint when I add color. This is the paint you find in tubes at most craft stores... or craft section at walmart. Use a brush to apply paint. |
Once the paint is dry... outline area with permanent marker. |
Use a toothpick... or wrong end of your paint brush to make the dots. Dip in paint... then touch onto the drawing paper. This is a perfect way to make the eyes. |
Add a dot for the nose. |
When the paint is dry... outline with marker. |
Get silly with the colors... add hair... add a bow... enjoy your imagination! |
Remember... wait for the paint to dry.. then add an outline with your marker. You don't always have to use black for outline... you can use any color you'd like. |
When you begin... you should folow the basic instructions to learn about a new art. After that... use any colors... even if you follow a step by step drawing... use the colors you like... after all... it is YOUR art! |
