Snick hurt one of his fingers on his front paw the other day. This means that we will have to keep him in his cage a little while longer until it heals. When we get closer to his release, after we know his paw is healed, we will no longer feed him by hand, it will all go into his feeding dish... and we will try not to talk to him (this will be very hard to do... he is sooooo cute... and he loves to have his chin scratched! I know he will look at me with those BIG BEAUTIFUL EYES... and I'll melt... but it's for his own good that I have to resist). This is part of "letting go" disconnecting ourselves from each other.
